Tadelakt

What is Tadelakt?

Tadelakt is one of the world's oldest and most revered plaster techniques, a material born over a thousand years ago in the sun-soaked landscapes of Morocco. Crafted by hand and polished with natural olive oil soap, Tadelakt was originally used to waterproof the royal hammams, palaces, and riads of Marrakech. It was designed to withstand intense heat, moisture, and daily exposure to water, long before modern sealers or synthetic materials existed. In a tropical island where heat and moisture meet every single day, Tadelakt stands out as a luxurious, long-lasting solution.

It brings old-world craftsmanship into modern Caribbean living, offering not only beauty, but health, durability, and functionality. Tadelakt didn't just survive centuries of humidity. It mastered it. And now, it brings that same mastery to Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
